Live webcams of the Alps
Valtline brings together the webcams of Valtellina, the Engadin, Valposchiavo, Val Müstair, Val Bregaglia and Valchiavenna: each webcam publishes a snapshot at regular intervals, with the capture time always shown.
It helps you decide whether to set off, which pass to cross and what to expect at altitude, from Sondrio at 300 metres to Bormio 3000 at 3,012.

All webcamsThe Alps, region by region
Each region has its own page with all the cameras, the map, the roads and passes, and answers to the questions people ask before setting off. From there you go down to the individual places and webcams, with the day's timelapse and the archive of the last few days.
Valtellina runs from Sondrio and Tirano, on the vineyard-covered valley floor, up to Bormio, Livigno and the Stelvio Pass: it is the region with the most cameras, and many of them sit above 1,800 metres. Here the main things to read are the snow and the pass roads: Stelvio, Gavia, Foscagno, Eira and Forcola all have a camera nearby.
Valposchiavo descends from the Bernina Pass to Brusio along the Bernina Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the cameras run from Lago Bianco to the spiral viaduct, by way of Poschiavo.
In the Engadin the cameras at Maloja, Silvaplana, Sils Maria, St. Moritz and Samedan look out over the lake plateau at 1,800 metres, where the Maloja wind arrives every sunny afternoon; also in the Upper Engadin are Celerina, La Punt Chamues-ch and Zuoz, and in the Lower Engadin Scuol and Ardez, the village of sgraffito façades.
The network is completed by Val Müstair, with the village of the Carolingian convent and the Ofen Pass, Valchiavenna, with Chiavenna at 333 metres and Soglio, the balcony of Val Bregaglia, Val Venosta, with Malles and Trafoi, Val Masino, with the Sasso Remenno, and Val Camonica, with Ponte di Legno. It is the lowest and highest cameras in the network that, together, tell you what the weather is really doing.
