Terms of Service

The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Systematic content extraction (bulk scraping), republishing the image feeds as your own service, or using the site in ways that impair its operation are not permitted.

Webcam images belong to their respective owners/sources, credited on each page. The platform design, texts and software are the property of Valtline Webcam. Sharing individual images with source attribution is permitted.

Images, weather data and information are provided "as is", without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness or continuous availability. Do not base safety-critical decisions (e.g. road or avalanche conditions) solely on information from this site.

Free period. A new account receives Premium free of charge for a period stated at sign-up, without a card. At the end the free period simply stops: there is no charge and the account stays free.

Plans. Premium is bought with a monthly or annual plan, which renews automatically, or with a single payment (7 days, ski season) that does not renew. The prices in force, VAT included, are those shown on the Premium page and in the order summary. Payment is handled by Stripe.

Renewal and cancelling. The monthly and annual plans renew at the end of each period at the same price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account ("Manage subscription"): Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid and there are no further charges. If you buy during the free period, the first charge is made on the day the free period ends.

Launch price. Anyone who takes the annual plan at the launch price, while it is offered, keeps that price at every renewal for as long as the subscription stays active. If they cancel and subscribe again, the price at that time applies.

Right of withdrawal. Premium starts at once, at your express request when you order. You can still withdraw within 14 days of the purchase, without giving a reason, using the "Withdraw from the contract" page (linked at the bottom of every page) or by writing to us. We refund in full what you paid, to the same payment method, within 14 days of the request. The automatic renewal of a plan does not start a new withdrawal period.

Failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, Premium stays active for a few days while the payment is retried; then the account goes back to free.

Premium is sold through Stripe (Link), acting as reseller: it applies the VAT of your country, already included in the price, sends you the receipt and appears on your statement. The service is provided by Valtline.

To the extent permitted by law, Valtline Webcam is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the service, service interruptions, or content inaccuracies.

We may update these terms. Substantial changes are announced on the site and, to anyone with a Premium plan, by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. A change does not alter the price of a period already paid.

If you are a consumer, this contract is governed by the law of the country where you live. You can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence or before the courts at our seat (Campocologno, Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland); we can bring a claim against you only where you live. To settle a dispute out of court you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. Contact: webcam@valtline.it.
