Valdidentro is the scattered municipality of Alta Valtellina that brings together Isolaccia, Premadio, Pedenosso and Semogo along the SS 301, the Foscagno road. It is also the municipality of the thermal baths: Bormio's Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi are on its territory, with nine hot springs already mentioned by Pliny the Elder.
From Isolaccia the gondola goes up to the Cima Piazzi–San Colombano ski area, with more than 20 kilometres of pistes, and the road with 21 hairpins passes beneath the Torri di Fraele, built in 1391, to reach the Cancano lakes, at almost 2,000 metres in the Stelvio National Park. In Val Alpisella, a little higher up, is the source of the Adda, the river that runs the whole length of Valtellina. See the other Valtellina webcams or the map.
